By accessing or using Emerald ("the Service"), operated by Emerald Video Editor ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Emerald is an AI-powered video editing platform that processes user-uploaded footage and assets to produce edited video content based on text prompts. The Service includes the web application, API, and related tools.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Emerald, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at will@emeraldeditor.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain all ownership rights to content you upload to or create with Emerald. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transform it solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Refunds are available within the first 7 days of a new subscription (the trial period).
New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan will be activated and billed.
The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is owned by Emerald Video Editor and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology beyond what is needed to use the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that outputs will be error-free, suitable for any particular purpose, or free of third-party rights claims. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emerald shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Emerald and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your content within 30 days of termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in King County, Washington.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
